T.S. Monk

 

I remember a song by T.S. Monk that was popular in the 80s entitled Bon Bon Vie (Gimme the Good Life). I knew the song but I never knew who it was by until now. That made me listen to some more of his songs that I think are good. Bon Bon Vie is the only song that I knew by T.S. Monk in the 80s because I heard it on the radio a lot. It’s a great song. 

The Voice of Retro

 

Podcasting, if you don’t know by now is different than radio. Radio plays music, but there is talk radio too. In podcasts, you can have music but not music that is copyrighted without permission. The big part of podcasting is your voice. For the Eagle Harp podcast, there are no record spins. Just the voice of retro to share information on the favorite retro singers of the 70’s & 80’s. When music was the best on the radio. There were so many singers singing in those years, and so many songs were heard. It seemed like more of a variety. 

So far, Eagle Harp is about the retro music of singers like Donna Summer & The Weather Girls. They were exciting singers. When you heard their music, you couldn’t wait to hear what they had next. The podcast, Eagle Harp about those kind of singers.
